Questions to ask a clinic in Lucknow
Is PRP included, and do I need it?
Lucknow packages vary on this. Ask whether PRP sessions are part of the quoted price, how many there are, and what the transplant costs without them.
Who will operate, and can I check their registration?
Ask for the operating doctor's name and registration number. You can search for them on the Indian Medical Register of the National Medical Commission.
Will technicians do any part of the surgery?
Many clinics use a team. Ask which steps the doctor does in person. The ISHRS says scalp surgery should be performed by a trained, licensed doctor.
What is not included in the price?
Ask for a written list of extras: medicines, blood tests, additional follow-ups, GST and any charge if more grafts are taken than planned.
