Privacy notice

How we use, share, keep and delete the personal details you send through this site, and how to use your rights.

An interim notice

Interim notice, waiting for legal review

This notice describes how this site handles personal details today. It has not had a legal review yet; a reviewed notice will replace it. The name and contact details of the business that runs this site will be added here. Last updated 26 September 2026.

Who we are

This site is run by the team that answers requests for help sent through it (“we”, “our team”). We are not a clinic.

The business that runs this site is not fully named yet

The legal name of the business that runs this site, its postal address and its contact details will be added here. Until then, the routes on our contact page are the ways to reach our team.

What we collect, and why

  • A request for help (get help from our team): your name, phone number and city, what you are interested in, when we should call, and a note if you add one. You also confirm that you are 18 or over and agree that we may contact you; permission to share your request with clinics is a separate, optional box. We record the page you came from, which version of the consent wording you saw, and when you sent it. We use this to call you, explain prices and help you compare clinics.
  • A privacy request (make a privacy request): what you want us to do, your phone number, and a request reference if you have one. We use them to check that the request comes from you and to do what you asked.
  • A report of a mistake (report a mistake): the page, what is wrong, and a link to a source if you give one. We do not ask for your name. We use it to check the page and correct it. Please do not put personal details in the report.
  • Listing claims by clinic staff are not open yet, so we collect nothing for them. This notice will say what a claim collects before they open.
  • To stop abuse, each form keeps a short code made from your internet address, and from the phone number you gave, using a secret key, so the address or number itself is not stored in it. Each code is used for an hour or a day to limit how many requests can be sent.
  • A cookie: after you send a request for help, your browser keeps a cookie for 24 hours so that you can view or withdraw that request. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Visit counts: we do not count visits ourselves.
  • Server logs: like most websites, the servers of our hosting provider (Hostinger) record each request to this site in their logs, including your internet address, the page asked for and the time.

Who sees it

  • Our team. Only the staff who handle requests. The list of requests for help shows no contact details; opening a person's contact details is logged. The staff who manage requests can also download the list of requests for help as a spreadsheet file (CSV) that includes names and phone numbers; every download is logged.
  • Clinics, only with your permission. We never send your details to a clinic automatically. We share a request for help with a clinic only if you ticked the permission box and confirm it again when we call you, and with no more than 3 clinics listed on this site in your city. We record every share. A clinic that receives your details holds them in its own systems.
  • The services that run this site. Our database is hosted by Supabase and the website by Hostinger. They store and process the data for us.
  • How the site is paid for, and whether any clinic pays us, is on how we make money.

How long we keep it

  • Requests for help: we keep your contact details, your answers and our notes for 90 days after the last activity on the request, such as a call or a change of status. A job that runs every day then deletes them. We keep a record that the request existed (its reference, date, city and status) without your contact details, and a record of any clinic we shared it with. This job does not reach a spreadsheet copy our staff downloaded before then.
  • Privacy requests, reports of mistakes: we keep them as a record of what was asked and what we did. We have not set a fixed period for them yet.
  • Backups: we keep encrypted daily copies of our database, stored apart from it, to restore the site after a failure. Following our backup procedure, copies are removed once they are 30 days old, except that the newest seven are always kept, so your details can remain in a copy for a while after we delete them from the site. If we ever restore from a copy, we first apply again every withdrawal of a request for help, and every deletion of its details, recorded since, so those details do not come back. Our hosting provider may also keep its own backups of its servers for a limited period, on its own schedule.

Your choices and rights

  • You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw a request for help, through a privacy request. For 24 hours after sending a request for help, you can also withdraw it from your request in the same browser.
  • We first check that the request comes from you, by calling the phone number you gave. Then we act on it and tell you what we did, including which clinics, if any, we shared your details with.
  • You can withdraw your agreement at any time. It does not undo what was done before, and a clinic that already received your details holds them in its own systems. Saying no to sharing with clinics does not change the help you get from us.
  • The name and contact details of the person who handles complaints about personal data will be added here.

Age

Requests for help are only for people aged 18 or over.
