How clinics are chosen

Our city pages list hair transplant clinics so that you can see who works in your area. This page explains exactly which clinics we include, how we order them, where the details come from and what we do not check. No clinic pays to be listed, and nobody can pay to change a clinic's position.

The rule for including a clinic

We start from public Google Maps listings for each city. A clinic is included only if all of these are true:

• It has its own website. A social media page or a listing on a directory site does not count.
• It has a public Google rating of at least 4.0 from at least 20 reviews. We use this only to filter and order the list. We do not show ratings or reviews anywhere on this site.
• Its own website shows that it offers hair transplants. A page of the site mentions hair transplants, or names a transplant method such as FUE, FUT or DHI. PRP on its own does not count, because it is not a transplant. A Google Maps category or a clinic name is not enough on its own, and neither is a website we cannot read, an empty page or an advertising landing page.
• It is open. Listings marked as permanently closed are left out.

We also leave out:

• wig, hair patch and hair system studios, and other non-surgical hair replacement services
• salons, beauty and hair removal businesses, and other unrelated categories
• skin or cosmetic clinics whose own website does not mention hair transplants
• duplicate listings of the same clinic, and separate listings for a doctor who works at a clinic that is already included

How many clinics we show

We show up to 20 clinics per city, and at most 2 branches of the same organisation in each city. This stops one chain from filling a city's list. We treat clinics that share a website as one organisation.

A city gets its own page only when we can show enough clinics that meet the rule: at least 10 in a metro city and at least 8 in other cities. We do not add clinics that fail the rule to make up the numbers.

How clinics are ordered

Clinics are ordered by their public Google rating, adjusted for the number of reviews. The cost page for a city lists them in that order. The clinics page for a city groups them by area, with the areas that have more clinics first, and keeps that order within each area. The adjustment stops a clinic with a handful of perfect reviews from jumping above clinics with hundreds of reviews. Where two clinics are level, the one with more reviews comes first.

Nothing commercial affects the order. No clinic pays for a listing, a position or a highlight, and money will never change the order. The order is not our recommendation, and it does not mean one clinic is better than another.

We do not show ratings because they are controlled by a third party, they change over time and they can be manipulated. We use them for two things only: the minimum in the rule above, and the order described here.

What we show about each clinic

For each clinic we show:

• the clinic's name, address and area, taken from its public Google Maps listing, and its approximate position on a simple city plot
• the hair transplant methods and related treatments its own website lists
• doctors' names, where the clinic's own website lists them with a medical qualification
• one link to the clinic's own website
• the date we last checked the details

We do not copy text or photos from clinic websites. We do not show clinic phone numbers, WhatsApp links or booking links. To contact a clinic, use its own website.

What we do not check

Being listed means a clinic met the rule above on the date we checked. It is not an endorsement, a recommendation or a quality check. In particular, we have not:

• visited the clinics
• checked the qualifications or registration of their doctors
• checked their results, safety record or prices
• read every page of their websites; we read a small number of pages from each

Before you book, ask for the name and registration number of the doctor who will examine you and operate. You can check a doctor's registration on the Indian Medical Register of the National Medical Commission.

Some limits of our data:

• Google Maps categories are chosen by the businesses themselves. We use them only to find listings and to leave out unrelated businesses; they never qualify a clinic on their own.
• Ratings and review counts are a snapshot from when we collected them.
• We searched some cities more deeply than others, so smaller cities may have more clinics than we list.

The last-checked date

Each clinic page shows the date we last checked its details. The current listings were last checked on 25 September 2026. We will recheck them periodically, and whenever someone reports a problem.

Corrections and removal requests

Our contact page shows how to tell us that a detail is wrong or out of date, or that a clinic would rather not be listed.

In a correction, tell us which clinic, what is wrong and, if you can, where the correct information is published. We check each change against the clinic's official website or other official sources before making it. When a clinic asks to be removed, we first confirm that the request comes from the clinic, and then remove the listing.
