Hair transplants in Bangalore
Bangalore, officially Bengaluru since 2014, is the capital of Karnataka and a large IT centre, so many people pricing a hair transplant here are comparing quotes around a working week. Clinics are spread out: Koramangala and HSR Layout in the south-east, Rajajinagar in the west, Jayanagar in the south, and Whitefield out east.
We class Bangalore as a metro city, so our estimates sit a little above the national band of ₹30 to ₹60 per graft. For standard FUE here we estimate ₹35 to ₹65 per graft. A session of 2,000 to 2,500 grafts works out at roughly ₹70,000 to ₹1.65 lakh before GST.
These are estimates, not any clinic's price. The number of grafts you need, and whether you are suitable at all, can only be decided by a qualified doctor who examines you. Use the figures to test a quote, then ask the clinic to explain anything well outside them.
What drives the price in Bangalore
Three things tend to separate one Bangalore quote from another:
- Method on offer. DHI and sapphire FUE are asked about by name here. Both usually cost more per graft than standard FUE; we estimate DHI at ₹55 to ₹110 per graft and sapphire FUE at ₹45 to ₹90 per graft in the city.
- Who does the work. Quotes differ with how much of the extraction and implanting the surgeon does personally.
- What is bundled. Some packages fold in PRP, medicines and follow-ups; others list them separately. PRP alone is often ₹4,000 to ₹9,000 per session.

Can I pay for a hair transplant in Bangalore in instalments?
We do not track finance offers. If a clinic offers EMI or finance through a lender, ask for the total amount payable, the interest rate, any processing fee and what happens if you cancel. A monthly figure on its own tells you little.
Is there a separate price for women in Bangalore?
