Questions to ask a clinic in Mohali
If I want beard work too, can it be done in the same session?
It depends on your donor supply and the size of each area. Ask the doctor whether combining them is sensible, and how the price is worked out for each.
Who is the doctor, and are they registered?
Ask for the operating doctor's name and registration number. You can check it on the Indian Medical Register maintained by the National Medical Commission.
Which parts of the surgery do technicians handle?
Ask the clinic to set out who extracts, who makes the openings and who implants. The ISHRS says scalp incisions are surgery for a trained, licensed doctor.
Does the quote include GST and follow-ups?
GST is generally charged on cosmetic hair transplants. Ask whether it is in the figure, and how many follow-up visits come with it.
